Sedona AZ (April 14, 2015) – You are invited to pARTy! Every day is a celebration at Rowe Fine Art Gallery, but on May 1, the gallery celebrates its 5-year anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, gallery owners Ken and Monica Rowe invite you to Cinco Celebration: A 5-year anniversary pARTy from 5 to 8 p.m. Stop by to meet gallery artists, including sculptor Ken Rowe, and enjoy the gallery’s signature – and decadent – chocolate fountain. Light hors d’oeuvres and wine will also be served.
“It might be cliché to say this, but the last five years have just flown by,” says Ken. “This is the first gallery that Monica and I have owned, and while we knew we could make it successful, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. From the beginning, we set out to bring our collectors the finest in contemporary and traditional southwestern art. We envisioned a space where each artist’s unique voice could be heard without any repetition. We wanted to develop personal relationships with all of our artists so that we could tell their story. With the support of our collectors, the community of Sedona, Tlaquepaque management and our knowledgeable staff, we’ve seen that vision become a reality. I’m really excited about what the next five years will bring.”
Rowe Fine Art Gallery opened its doors at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in March 2010 in a small upstairs space. The gallery moved to its current location, under Tlaquepaque’s iconic bell tower, in December 2011. Ken and Monica are both Arizona natives, and they are celebrating more than one anniversary this year. In December, the couple will have lived in Sedona for 20 years. Prior to moving north, they owned a successful taxidermy business in Phoenix. Rowe Fine Art Gallery represents 21 sculptors, painters and jewelers, and one graphite artist.
