Cottonwood AZ (July 18, 2013) – The Cat’s Vyktrola and Sedona’s own Green Light will rock the Main Stage in Cottonwood, July 19.

The Cat’s Vyktrola, led by Vyktoria Pratt Keating and backed by seasoned musicians Dave Rentz on percussion and vocals and Kirk Burnett on banjo and mandolin, have been rocking the local music scene for years with imaginative interpretations of timeless cover songs that cover folk, rock, pop, bluegrass and Celtic tunes from the 1700s to the 1980s.

20130718_mainstageThe Cats have a fresh approach to live performance, preferring freedom on stage to infuse the songs with the energy of the moment.

Each member of the trio is an accomplished musician with the ability to perform complex progressions while allowing for plenty of spontaneity and fun.

In the Cat’s shows, with all lead solos played on banjo, songs by Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Beatles are transformed into a highly original sound with an energetic yet laid back feel.

Vyktoria’s beautiful voice and passionate singing enthrall audiences and the musical virtuosity of her band is unmatched.

Green Light has finally taken their place as one of Sedona’s finest original classic rock, vocal-harmony bands.

Lead by songwriters Tommy Acosta and Chicky Brooklyn, Green Light continues to grow exponentially musically and in popularity.

With the ever-popular Uncle Marc Wolin on trombone, keys and vocals, Joey Rivera on drums, the fabulous Mike Reed on saxophone and vocals, the bands extended jams on their original tunes never fail to get the audience whooping and hollering.

Chicky on rhythm guitar and Tommy on bass keep the songs thumping and for those that love outstanding lead guitar work, none other than Sedona’s Robin Miller will be making a guest appearance with the band for the July 19 show.

An accomplished musician, composer, recording artist and performer, Robin Miller will add his musical magic to the Green Light concert no one should miss.

The shows will kick off at 8:30 p.m. with the Cat’s followed by Green Light who will close the concert.

For those who have not been to the main Stage in Cottonwood, you are in for a special treat that night.

This new music and arts venue has it all.

A great stage, professional lighting and a state-of-the-arts sound system combined with a “New York” rock club ambience with plenty seating, a dance floor and fully stocked bar, the Main Stage is on its way to becoming one of Northern Arizona’s top live-music establishments.

Don’t miss catching the Cat’s Vyktrola and Green light at the Main Stage on July 29.

The Main Stage is located at 1 South Main Street in Cottonwood, on the corner of Main Street and Mingus: 928-202-3460.
