Eight October Opportunities to Help Get Trails Ready for Sedona Mountain Bike Festival
SEDONA, Ariz: The city of Sedona invites the community to join several trail maintenance events at Posse Grounds Bike Park. The city will be working on all bike trails and features at the park to help get them ready for the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival happening Nov. 6-8, 2026.
Volunteers will help by removing rocks and debris, adding topsoil to existing features, trimming vegetation and removing weeds, shaping features, clearing drainages, removing ruts, and general beautification of the Bike Park. No prior trail building experience is needed.

Event details
- There will be volunteer tasks available from moderate to difficult.
- Tools will be provided.
- Meet in the Pump Track area at the start of the session. Volunteers will need to sign a waiver, get a safety briefing and get task assignments.
- Although not required, you can bring your bike to test ride the trails as a form of quality control.
- Volunteers must bring their own gloves, eye protection, helmet (riders), closed toe shoes and water and snacks.
This is a great opportunity to help Sedona’s Bike Park before it is experienced by riders from all over the world – all while working alongside friends and neighbors.
