    Phase two of pavement rehabilitation to begin along Soldiers Pass Road

    20250331 citySedona News – In order to extend pavement life and improve road quality, beginning April 7, 2025, the city and their contractor, Cactus Asphalt, will begin the second phase of pavement rehabilitation operations along Soldiers Pass Road, from St. John Vianney Lane to Shadow Rock Drive, and a small section of St. John Vianney Lane (as shown in the map).

    Additional work consists of utility adjustments along Soldiers Pass Road, from State Route 89A to Shadow Rock Drive. This work is expected to be complete in one week.

    Work may occur Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. No road closures are anticipated during this work, however, please be aware of temporary lane restrictions, reduced speeds, loud noise and flagging operations. To avoid conflicts with construction equipment and expedite completion of the project, please avoid on-street parking along the affected roadways while construction is underway. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained when possible, however, temporary restrictions may occur.
