… the Sedona Airport had their annual airport festivities on Saturday with lots of great aircraft to look at, a few warbirds from Chino and great cars. I got there late in the day as I wanted to get shots of the warbirds and in particular the P-40 Warhawk taking off and the photo above is one of many I got of them taking off. The P-40 is a very cool aircraft which first came off the assembly line in 1938 and other iterations followed … when production ended in 1944, 13,738 of them had been produced.

Below is a natural warbird cruising and looking for prey on the ground … a quick kill and meals to go.

Down to the lake in the morning and we’ll see what is there … been almost two months since I have been on the water and anxious to be there hunting whatever wildlife I can find. How can a day be anything but fantastic on the water … or anywhere for that matter! Live whilst you have the gift of life! Keep breathing and smile … you are here!

    Cheers,

    Ted

Maybe you have a still soul that
goes murmurless like water in the deep
    of rivers.

    And perchance you wander
silent amid the din of the world’s
    grinding barter like one
    journeying in strange lands.

You, too, with the still soul,
have your mission, for beneath the
    dashing, noisy waves must ever
run the silent waters that give the tide
    its course.

you with the Still Soul by Max Ehrmann

    Beatles Tribute at Blazin’ M

I can honestly say, having grown up in the Bronx in the 60s, that if it had not been for the Beatles I most likely would have grown up to be a criminal or been killed in a violent gang war.
