Sedona News – One-time local Kathleen Bryant has written OVER THE EDGE, an upcoming mystery-thriller that will lead readers along Sedona’s bumpy forest roads and remote canyon trails.

A resident of Sedona for twenty years, Bryant drew on her experiences as a travel writer and Coconino Forest volunteer, blending fact with fiction, adding intrigue from ancient sites, abandoned film sets, secret trails, and shady pasts. The novel’s main character—a former reporter turned Jeep tour guide—must piece together her shattered memories in time to stop a killer.
The novel is a “cat-and-mouse thriller perfect for fans of CJ Box and Anne Hillerman,” according to publisher Crooked Lane Books. Scheduled for release on June 4, 2024, OVER THE EDGE is currently available for pre-order from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other booksellers.
While living in Sedona, Bryant wrote articles about Arizona and the Southwest for Arizona Highways, American Archaeology, Sunset and other magazines. She is also the author of Sedona: Treasure of the Southwest, the National Parks’ Lodges Cookbook, and several Moon Handbooks. Her work has been recognized by the Arizona Humanities Council and Foreword magazine.

I am so looking forward to reading Kathleen Bryant’s new book! She is an incredible writer and so very knowledgeable about the Southwest and Sedona.
