    Flagstaff News – On Saturday January 21st, 2020 the 13th Annual Flagstaff BrewHaHa will take place at High Country Conference Center in downtown Flagstaff. BrewHaHa will feature the very best of local, regional, and national craft beers, hard seltzers, liquors, wines, and more! There will be live music featuring Flagstaff’s FoxyKoshka.  BrewHaHa will also include a Best of the Fest Contest-The Snowman’s Choice Award for best brew judged by members of the local homebrewers club. There will also be a People’s Choice Award. In keeping with the “tasting” theme of the event there will be also be bratwurst.

    This event is presented in partnership with Flagstaff Ski Club which will receive a percentage of proceeds.  This one-of-a-kind event will celebrate local flavor, great views from the High Country Conference Center, and most of all delight your taste buds with some of the best drinks in the world.

    The event begins at 2pm and runs until 6pm. The event is 21+ only. Advance tickets are $50 and are available locally with no service fees (cash only) at Mountain Spirits (1490 S Riordan Ranch St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001). Tickets are also available online at www.flagbrewhaha.com. Tickets will be $60 at the door. VIP tickets are $100 and are limited to 30.

    City Council Weighs ATV Ban Ordinance Proposal

    The Sedona City Council at its May 23, 2023 meeting took no action on a proposed ordinance that would ban all off-road vehicles from being driven on state-owned public roads or streets owned by the city. The ordinance, spearheaded by Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow on the premise that such vehicles pose a risk to the health, safety and welfare of the community, would impose heavy fines to anyone driving the ATVs or OHVs on city streets, including S.R. 179 and S.R. 89A. ATV rental companies have admitted that such vehicles are not intended or designed to be driven on paved roads, yet, in Arizona, they are allowed to do so under Arizona Revised Statute 28-1174 (4B). Opponents against the ordinance argued at the meeting that if adopted the ban would cripple the ATV rental industry in Sedona and cause much hardship to the owners and employees, as it would effectively, as written, destroy their livelihood.
