logo_ycsoMcGuireville AZ (July 15, 2016) – On July 13, 2016, at approximately 11:45 PM, a brown 1975 Chevy pick-up was parked at the McGuireville Mini-Mart gas pumps located in the 2100 block of E Beaver Creek Road, McGuireville. The owner/victim of the vehicle told deputies he left his ignition key in the truck while he was inside the market. At one point he noticed a young Hispanic looking male walking around his truck. The male suddenly entered his truck and sped away. The victim noted the suspect had ridden to the market on an orange bicycle which was still parked outside.

The victim and an employee at the station chased the suspect in an employee’s vehicle. They saw the suspect drive along Beaver Creek Road, eventually veering off the roadway and through a fence near Red Baron Drive. The suspect fled as the stolen truck came to rest. Neither the victim nor employee could recall seeing the suspect before.
