    Yavapai County Master Gardeners bring Plant to Plate Gardening Classes to Camp Verde Community Library

    Verde Valley News – The Master Gardeners from The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension of Yavapai County are bringing their free 6-week Plant to Plate Gardening Series of classes to the library starting on Tuesday, March 11th from 5-6:30 pm.  The classes will continue for the next 5 weeks in the library’s Terracotta Room every Tuesday at the same time, ending on April 22.

    Plant to Plate Gardening SeriesThis six-part series includes information on:

    • Planning your garden
    • Starting with healthy soil
    • Planting your garden
    • Caring for your garden
    • Weeds and Pests
    • Harvesting your bounty

    The job of a gardener is simple – to understand what your plants need and give it to them. This series will give you the tools you need to get the best possible results from your garden.

    Registration is encouraged but not required.  Patrons may register on the online library events calendar at https://yavapai.events/event/plant-plate-cooking-class-adults-84063

    At Camp Verde Community Library, we connect people of all ages and walks of life to the expanding world of information, ideas, and creative experiences through free and equitable access to library resources. Camp Verde Community Library is located at 130 N Black Bridge Road just off Montezuma Castle Highway in Camp Verde. The library is open Monday-Thursday 8:00a-7:00p and Friday-Saturday 9:00a-5:00p
