    Yavapai County Master Gardeners bring Plant to Plate Gardening Classes to Camp Verde Community Library

    Verde Valley News – The Master Gardeners from The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension of Yavapai County are bringing their free 6-week Plant to Plate Gardening Series of classes to the library starting on Tuesday, March 11th from 5-6:30 pm.  The classes will continue for the next 5 weeks in the library’s Terracotta Room every Tuesday at the same time, ending on April 22.

    Plant to Plate Gardening SeriesThis six-part series includes information on:

    • Planning your garden
    • Starting with healthy soil
    • Planting your garden
    • Caring for your garden
    • Weeds and Pests
    • Harvesting your bounty

    The job of a gardener is simple – to understand what your plants need and give it to them. This series will give you the tools you need to get the best possible results from your garden.

    I sleep well most nights. This is something relatively new for me. For many years, I was a raging insomniac. I didn’t sleep well last night and found myself meditating around 4am, not so much to get to sleep but for something to pass the time.
