Verde Valley News – The Master Gardeners from The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension of Yavapai County are bringing their free 6-week Plant to Plate Gardening Series of classes to the library starting on Tuesday, March 11th from 5-6:30 pm. The classes will continue for the next 5 weeks in the library’s Terracotta Room every Tuesday at the same time, ending on April 22.
This six-part series includes information on:
- Planning your garden
- Starting with healthy soil
- Planting your garden
- Caring for your garden
- Weeds and Pests
- Harvesting your bounty
The job of a gardener is simple – to understand what your plants need and give it to them. This series will give you the tools you need to get the best possible results from your garden.
