These fun seasonal outdoor holiday markets will take exclusively at 1405 West Hwy 89A in West Sedona across from Whole Foods.  The shows offer guilt free shopping for a worthy cause. The markets will offer a variety of handmade artistic gift giving items such as:  Native American jewelry, Mata Ortiz Pottery, Forever Rock Candles, clothing, suncatchers, and beautiful, unique jewelry made with crystals, gemstones, and copper. The one-day outdoor artisan markets offer quality art at an affordable price. The farmers market type products such as honey, salt scrubs, soaps, aprons, aromatherapy oils and more are great gifts for the holidays. Live Music from noon to 4 pm performed by Tim Young

Red Rose Inspiration for Animals is a local 501c3 nonprofit that supports animal welfare and has been promoting Art Shows in West Sedona since 2009. These are the only type of events throughout the Verde Valley that proceeds benefit a non-profit for animal welfare.

The Red Rose markets generate revenue for the various long term existing animal related programs such as spay and neuter of homeless feral felines specifically in Camp Verde, along with low-cost spay and neuter services of felines and canines belonging to pet owners on a fixed income and needing financial assistance. Animals that continue to reproduce are often abused, injured, neglected, or euthanized as there is a huge over pet population problem and spay and neuter is the only solution. Support our cause.

    If I Were Curtis Sliwa
    By Tommy Acosta

One of my guilty little pleasures is imagining what I would do if I was in someone else’s shoes, especially politicians. In this essay I would love to jump into the shoes of Curtis Sliwa, a former New York City vigilante who founded the Guardian Angels and is now running as a Republican for mayor of his city.
