Sedona AZ (March 22, 2017) – The Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley (JCSVV) and Sedona Unitarian Universalists Fellowship (SUUF) are co-sponsoring the 4th annual benefit to supply food for children through the Weekend Backpack Program and local youth pantries, because one in three children in the Verde Valley is food insecure.
The community is invited to come to Java Love Cafe (2155 Hwy 89A, near Harkins Theater) on Thursday, March 30, 2017 between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The $20 donation ticket includes a turkey or veggie “Backpack Wrap,” a drink and dessert. If you cannot attend, you may redeem your ticket on March 31 and April 1 between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Owners Dotan and Megan Lior are generously donating all proceeds above their costs to the Yavapai Food Council. Checks must be payable to Yavapai Food Council.
Please show your support for the improvement of nutrition for our local children.
