    Cornville AZ (September 6, 2014) – Connections Equine Therapy is a non-profit organization located in Cornville, AZ offering Therapeutic Riding and other services designed to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals with disabilities.   This is your opportunity to get involved with a great group of people, get to know some wonderful horses and help a worth-while cause!

    We need volunteers for Horse Care and to assist clients in our Therapeutic Riding Program. No experience necessary – training provided.

    THERAPEUTIC RIDING ASSISTANTS:  Assist in tacking horse for sessions and walk along side client and horse during sessions to ensure safety and assist client as needed.  Next Training Session will be September 23rd.

    • Minimum age 14
    • Must be physically fit
    • At least one shift per week
    • 8 week commitment required

    War…What is it good for? Obviously, it is good for those who profit from destruction and the taking of human life. And what is the common denominator, the impetus for war throughout the centuries? It’s about the acquisition of land, by force, deceit or any other means possible. During the holidays I went to a party where this retired couple were recounting a land dispute they were having with their neighbor. It seems their neighbor was claiming an extra six feet on their property line and the animosity had grown so strong that they were now in court trying to settle whose six feet of land it was. Prior to the dispute they had been friendly but now they had become arch enemies, all for a tiny piece of land. Read more→
