Camp Verde, AZ-  For kids who dream about opening their own business — or who have already taken that first step and want to keep learning — the Camp Verde Community Library (CVCL) will be hosting the Verde Valley Biz Kids Club for ages 7–12.

Verde Valley Biz Kids Club is a fun, hands-on series where young entrepreneurs come together for activities, games, and projects that build leadership skills, boost confidence, and introduce important financial literacy concepts. It was created for families whose kids are excited about the idea of having their own business where they can create and sell what they love. Some kids discover that sports aren’t their thing — but this is an area of focus they’d like to become better at.

Best of all, our Biz Kids will play a big role in planning and hosting the next Camp Verde Children’s Business Fair! Last spring, 20 amazing young entrepreneurs wowed the community with their creativity, hard work, and products and are waiting to showcase their businesses again in the Fall.

“I want to create a space for them to be able to discuss and collaborate on ideas. Sometimes you need buddies to share your enthusiasm with and bounce ideas off of, and I hope to introduce them to a healthy support network as they grow in their journey as an entrepreneur. Meanwhile, it’s incredible to see the excitement kids have for their businesses and creations, and how proud they are to earn money doing something they personally built,” says Kat Saephanh, Director of AllBoss Club Arizona and instructor for Verde Valley Biz Kids Club. “The more exposure and hands-on experience they get, the better they become — and my goal is to give them the tools to create opportunities for themselves and other young entrepreneurs.”

While AllBoss Club is a paid program focusing on guiding kids through building their own individual businesses, creating their own brand, and learning about marketing and sales, Verde Valley Biz Kids Club is free and all about the behind-the-scenes magic of organizing, leading, and running the Children’s Business Fair, while enhancing entrepreneurial skills through group collaboration.
