Verde Valley News – Verde Valley Leadership is now accepting applications for Class XVII. The experiential leadership training program partners with Yavapai College and a vast network of community leaders to provide leadership and career development training. Both working professionals and advanced collegiate students are encouraged to apply.

Verde Valley Leadership provides a comprehensive leadership program with professional and personal growth and advancement opportunities. The class meets monthly at Yavapai College and works through a curriculum specifically designed to enhance leadership capacities and management skills. Each student is also involved in shadow days with community leaders, a day of service, mentorship guidance, and group field trips to Verde Valley’s most successful and impactful organizations. The exposure to current community issues and intimate discussions on how the community’s leaders are addressing those issues is a hallmark of the program.

The organization is seeking individuals for Class XVII who demonstrate the skills and interest to work toward the best possible environment for families, businesses, nonprofit organizations, government, and other systems that nurture strength within communities. Verde Valley Leadership provides the most effective organizational support possible in these pursuits.
