Verde Valley News – On Saturday, November 26, the Verde Valley GameCon Strikes Back! Join us for our third annual event from 9am-3pm.

GameCon will transform the Camp Verde Community Library into a free, family-friendly convention hall hosting games of all sorts. An all-ages event presented by CVCL and Game On of Cottonwood, GameCon aims to have something for everyone.

Want to try a new board game like Catan, Ticket to Ride, or Splendor? How about classic games like chess, checkers, backgammon, pinochle, and euchre? Head upstairs to the Game Library to check out one of many board games to play with friends.  Want to take on your friends in a Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros. tournament? We have you covered in the Video Game Room. Have you ever wanted to play as an elf scout or a wizard casting arcane spells in Dungeons and Dragons? Roll a character and join a one-shot beginner campaign! Do you have a competitive or casual Magic: The Gathering deck, or just want to learn how to play? We have a spot for you to play. Would you like to learn how to get started painting Warhammer models? Grab a free model and we’ll teach you how to build & paint it!
