Sedona AZ (February 21, 2019) – The University Women of Sedona will hold their March 4 meeting at Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Road, Sedona. Join us for an entertaining and informative session with Lois Carrier as she creates an awareness of the need for financial education for women in order to simplify the concepts of investing for hands-on application and to more fully understand ones own investment philosophy.
Lois Carrier, MAT, CFP®, is president and CEO of Carrier, Maurice and Webb Wealth Advisors with offices in Cottonwood, AZ and Johnson City, TN. She is a fee-only Certified Financial Planner™, Professional, sought after speaker and TV personality known for her ability to make tough subjects easy and fun to understand.
The University Women of Sedona meet the first Monday of each month October through May. Members and visitors are invited to come at 9:30 to socialize and share books. A special presentation and a brief business meeting follow.
All women holding an associate’s, RN, bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited institution of higher education are invited to join University Women of Sedona.
Founded over 40 years ago, the primary purpose of the University Women of Sedona is to develop a fund to provide financial scholarships and support to women in furthering their educational opportunities to an accredited local college or university. They also provide educational, inspirational and/or entertaining programs at monthly meetings and social events that build relationships with other members and the community.
