… riding the rails and a snowy winter morning as the California Zephyr passed through Winter Park after we climbed out of Denver and into the journey across the Rockies as we headed to California. Amtrak does make a stop there and it is undoubtedly in one of their vacation packages. We soon hooked up with the Colorado River and I got great shots as we ran parallel to it.

Below is a shot of some Woodies at Bubbling Ponds Fish Hatchery in Page Springs. I have gone years without seeing one there and then years like this when we get an abundance of them … I also remember when we were kids hunting Canada Geese in Minnesota that we seldom saw much less got a shot at them. Times, do change.

    Own In Sedona

Uplifting message: Don’t worry about old age as it doesn’t last that long anyway!

It really struck me funny …

Into a new week and new adventures to be lived … My daughter Gigi is boarding a train this week in Penn Station and I pick her up in Flagstaff … the holidays are arriving. Have a beautiful day and smile … you are here!

    Cheers,

    Ted

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with
yourself. You are a child of the universe no less
than the trees and stars; you have a right to be
here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no
doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefor be at peace with God, whatever you
conceive Him to be. And whatever you labors
and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep
peace in your soul. With all its shame, drudgery
and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.
    Strive to be happy.
