By Ted Grussing
… listening to Nat King Cole singing that song and working on a photo equally unforgettable that I took a year ago in September … days like this stay with you forever, flying between layers of clouds. In the lower right portion of the image you can make out I-17 and other than that it is all about the clouds … and I like them.
Snow today and very cool temperatures … a wonderful day to stay inside and write … I get to do it again today as after I had completely finished the article and saved it I closed it. I then was going to attach it to an email along with the images and send it to my friend Alice for review and it was gone … really completely and totally gone! Something happened to the save to the cloud drive and all those great phrases and ideas are now drifting around the internet somewhere. On the plus side, what I write today will likely be better and it is being saved to a local hard drive before being saved to the cloud drive. I also love tech, but when it misbehaves, it really misbehaves!
Have a terrific day today … stay safe and stay warm … share your joy.
Cheers
Ted
At nightfall,
Though I know I shall sometime no more open my eyes to the night or the day.
I am one who looks at the stars when unchained from the workbench at nightfall.
They are a sign I am not ephemeral, nor you, nor you, whoever you are.
The dawn comes and the dark and the sign sparkling in the brooding night,
forever and forever.
