… reaching for the sky … reaching for the stars and always we dream of touching the upper limits when we turn our gaze to the sky, the clouds and dream of what it would be like to be up there.

The Great Blue Heron above is reaching for the sky as he leaves the upper branches of a tree he was perched on in Lake Pleasant and below a Great Egret is also leaving his perch on some tree limbs protruding out of the lake … both of them reaching for the sky as they sever their connections to earth … me too!

Another beautiful day and a few things long on my list of things to do, were finished … more to go! Have a delightful day, share a smile with those you meet and greet … keep breathing and enjoy the simple things.

    Cheers,

    Ted

Though the world know me not, may my thoughts and actions be such as shall keep me friendly with myself. Lift my eyes from the earth, and let me not forget the uses of the stars. Forbid that I should judge others, lest I condemn myself. Let me not follow the clamor of the world, but walk calmly in my path. Give me a few friends who will love me for what I am; and keep ever burning before my vagrant steps the kindly light of hope.
