    … in one of my favorite places in the world, Sausalito, the street and bay front cafes and coffee shops … unmatched beauty anywhere. The Bay Bridge on the left horizon and the city on the bay, San Francisco, on the right. The marine layer is rolling in and will soon engulf the city. Corky and I used to go up there several times a year … normally we would stay at the Lodge at Tiburon and take the ferries over to the city, to Angel Island for a good day hike, Pier 39, or wherever we would decide to go. Those were fun times and it is still a beautiful place to visit. I took this shot about six years ago when I spent the day up there visiting friends with my daughter.

    A beautiful day today finishing up some paperwork, some gem work, finished a few photos and best of all some time out on the deck with One, enjoying the afternoon whilst doing not much of anything. Another wonderful day underway and will wrap it now.

    Smile, enjoy the day, your friends and family and do something nice for someone …

    Cheers

    Good night, thou sweet old world, good night;
    Enfold me in the gentle light
    Of other days, when gleams
    Of dewy meadows held my dreams;
    And quiet walks, as day sank low,
    Dispelled each touch of woe.
    Let me forget these joys be gone,
    But feel them coming on
    From out the past, with laughter’s cries
    And dream-enamored skies
    Of old. One hand let me hold tight.
    Good night, thou sweet, old world, good night.
