… yesterday it was down to Lake Pleasant with a friend and we got a few nice shots, but the opportunities were not very frequent … today it was home and work on several projects that have been nagging me and now they are done! The shot of the Road Runner above I took this afternoon … it is a Road Runner and I took the shot from my dining room, ten feet back from a double pane window and he is on the move on top of my barbecue grill … luckily I had the windows cleaned last month. I’ve been using Bart at 20/20 Window Cleaning for as long as I can remember and have always been very happy with the job they have done. The shot below I got yesterday at Lake Pleasant and shows a hen Merganser stretching her body and wings … just shaking things out.

Into the weekend and a nice one it will be … as usual, I will be catching up on projects, both gem and photography. Deadline coming up for the May article in Sedona Monthly and completing the work on a 12 page article of birds. You may want to subscribe to Sedona Monthly and get all my articles and features … it is a fabulous publication with high quality paper and printing and the articles and news coverage of the area can’t be beat!

Keep breathing, smile and enjoy life … your choice, always.

    Cheers,

    Ted

But from the brooding beauty of the night,
And daily dancing shafts of golden sun—
The mystery and wonder of the world—
That play the soundless music of the soul
And fill the heart with memory’s olden dreams—
From these will come at last your faith in God.
