… and it was simply another beautiful end of day in this amazing place that we call home … behind me the long shadows from Mingus Mountain were sweeping across the valley and soon the light was gone and the beauty hidden during the hours of night and rest … soon enough the sun rose and another day in paradise began. Save for the signs of a populated city this is how it has looked for thousands of years … and it will for thousands more. Change comes slowly here and we see the work of millions of years all around us … and we are blessed!

Below is a photo of my favorite little raptor, Finley, flying over the grasslands in the valley south of Sedona. He is doing well and we are waiting for the treatments to begin shortly … about four ounces of precious life that has brought joy into the lives of thousands who have met him during educational experiences that Michele has put on. At four and a half years he will have another ten or more years to go if the radiation treatment works as anticipated.

More work finished today, but still I am way behind in responding to your emails … working on it.

Have a beautiful day, stay warm, keep breathing and in your own way make this place a little better because you are here. Only you can do it.

    Cheers,

    Ted

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
