… as the heat continues, so does my preoccupation of working on snow and winter shots … last November provided many days for good shots and I love this one too. I took the shot from Airport Mesa near the SW end of the mesa and within the airport boundaries. Not sure what the flat mesa is, but the snowy mountain in the background is Casner Mountain … the gap between Casner and Black mountain is off the left side of the photo and Sycamore Canyon is on the back side of Casner. I love the winters here and never find myself wishing for hot weather.

The photo from last night will be added to the online store tomorrow as I have already sold five of them. More on that tomorrow night.

Busy day coming up so wrapping the day … have a beautiful day … stay cool.

For strong I was, and doubt ne’er crossed my mind
That all would come by work and truth and love.
Then o’er my peaceful soul, through each calm night,
Crept low, sweet thoughts that God and life are good.
