By Ted Grussing
… I ran out of chocolate this morning, so after visiting with some friends I drove the 20+ miles into Hayward going south on SR27 and found a stretch of road that just screamed, stop and shoot me … please do not take out of context … so I pulled over and got this photo … biggest stretch of color I have seen up here. I love the empty road which is very lightly traveled … man has been here … is here … but eventually nature will reclaim the land and the remnants of the road will cause a bit of curiosity to whatever follows us.
I’m not really a landscape photographer and most of the color I have shot on this trip are isolated groves or trees. So anyhow this is my contribution to landscape work … much prefer the other stuff I shot today, like wild turkeys, more loons, and some white tail deer … that is the fun stuff for me … and chocolate!
Need to get packing now and then some sleep as I’m leaving here in the morning and driving back to Minneapolis … afternoon flight back to Phoenix and it will be good to be home and with One, again.
A new week, a new day are we lucky or what!
Cheers
Ted

A peaceful heart, while quietly
I go my way
