    … come Sunday when things clear up around here there will likely be some spectacular views to be seen and captured. The photo above is from the SW side of the San Francisco Peaks after a storm … in the foreground is the ridgeline between Agassiz and Humpherys Peak … to the right of Humphreys Peak is Aubineau and then Reese’s Peak. The inner basin is buried in clouds and the shadow from Agassiz is laid out on the clouds in the inner basin … in the distance the Painted Desert is showing through a thin cloud layer.

    The photograph below is the view from the road coming down from Airport Mesa … snow and clouds and I love this place!

    As of this Tuesday afternoon there were still a few seats available for the show tonight at the Mary Fisher Theater … it is going to be a great show and we will have six raptors there. Four American Kestrels, Enedina a Saker Falcon and Leroy my favorite Harris’s Hawk. Lennox. Michele’s newest Kestrel will be in attendance.

    There will be opportunities to interact with the birds and have your picture taken whilst holding one of them … for a price. of course, as this is a fundraiser for International Raptor and Falconry Center. Plenty of merchandise for sale too.

    Have a beautiful day and hope to see you later this afternoon.

    Smiles,

    Ted

    I drink deep the joy of dawn
    And peace abides with me;
    And though I know that I again shall see
    Dark fear with withered hand approach my sleep,
    More sure am I when lonely night shall flee,
    At dawn the sun will bring good cheer to me.

    Beatles Tribute at Blazin’ M

    I can honestly say, having grown up in the Bronx in the 60s, that if it had not been for the Beatles I most likely would have grown up to be a criminal or been killed in a violent gang war.
