… a beautiful end of day after a snow storm. Casner mountain is in the background and the last light is illuminating some of the red rocks near the south west end of Long Canyon. More days have come and gone since I took this shot, yet the memory lives on … the beauty of the planet and the tiny part of it that we call home. Wherever you travel on this planet there is a special beauty unique to that area … for me this is home.
There is a special joy to be found in every day, but we periodically need special days to remind us of the gifts and joy in life and that is okay. So whether you are celebrating the secular national holiday of Christmas or the religious holiday of Christmas we wish you all joys and blessings of the season … may your hearts, home, family and friends be filled with love … live life … every day.
Smiles … still breathing and incredibly blessed.
Merry Christmas to you!
Ted
Lift my eyes from the earth, and let me not forget the uses of the stars.
Forbid that I should judge others, lest I condemn myself.
Let me not follow the clamor of the world, but walk calmly in my path.
Give me a few friends who will love me for what I am;
And keep ever burning before my vagrant steps the kindly light of hope.
