… have your attention … or so it seems this hen mallard is saying to those around her. A fun weekend, Friday evening with friends at the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix; the light show was absolutely phenomenal and I need to head back down there this week to get shots of the displays with something better than my cell phone. I renewed my membership so am good to go for another year. Took this shot at the ponds this afternoon; stopped on the way home from Walmart after buying new fabric to line the display cases which with the new LED lighting I installed this weekend makes everything look very good. No more changes in displays for a while now.
A pair of otters is wreaking havoc with the round tail chubs in one of the ponds at Page Springs; otters can eat half their body weight every day and the one breeding pond down there is only estimated to have a couple of hundred of the chubs left in it. The otters are proving to be very elusive and resistant to the idea of being caught and released somewhere far away from the hatchery. Something about hatcheries that critters find appealing; an open buffet to all who would partake of free food … eagles, hawks, otters, raccoons, grebes, cormorants and so much more and that makes for a great place to go and photograph a wide variety of wildlife.
Another busy week underway … enjoy it … spend time with family and friends and smile … you are breathing.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
