    … a little change of pace and back to some landscape work … the top photo was taken from Airport Mesa one evening after I put the motorglider away for the night and spent a little while enjoying the beauty and silence of days end. Another beautiful flight and more aerial photographs in the portfolio and it was time to sit and soak up the majesty of the Sedona area.

    Below is a shot I took from my backyard quite a few years ago, sixteen to be exact … I have never seen a sky and clouds like that before or since … perhaps the spirits were descending on Sedona? A major new Vortex made an appearance? I got a hole in one? Regardless, it was a beautiful sky and day.

    The White Pelican perched on a tree trunk in the water was taken at lake Pleasant … this email is being cut short because I’m leaving for the lake again at a very early hour … going to try and be on the way by 3:30 AM. Yikes! Still have to get my things together and the boat ready to go so will sign off now.

    Have a beautiful day … smile and keep breathing and choose to have a terrific day … only you can make that happen!

    With joy and as a friend is wont to say, miles of smiles!

    To-morrow, O to-morrow!
    Fast fall the fading years. A thought, a dream
    Of gentle words; of faith and love a theme;
    A smile a step or two, and all is done.
    Quick is the veering stream of life full run;
    Yet in the crimson west still gleam
    To-morrow and to-morrow’s endless dream.

    Does it Really Matter?

    Does it matter if life is illusory or real, if this a material world like most everyone thinks or a dream? It looks and feels real, it offers sensations and feelings that attest to its realness.
