… I said … and so are other life forms including this Green Heron who seems to be contemplating the meaning of all that is … or perhaps just his next meal. I got this shot of him with a background of blue sky and clouds as reflected in the water at the ponds. These guys are pretty skittish so it is fun when you can get in relatively close on occasion.

A very good day and several major projects finished … more left over for another day and purpose for life carried forward.

We’re into a very special weekend and a very Happy Easter and blessed Passover to all my friends.

I am, you are and we all are blessed in this life, so smile and share your joy … it is very much needed … and thank you Neil Diamond for the gift of your incredible music and talent.

Back on Monday … one of my favorite poems from Max follows.

    Ted

To be with you this evening,
     rarest of the evenings all,
And listen to the whispering leaves
and to the night bird’s call
The silvery moonlight on your face –
To be with you in some still place.

To be with you somewhere within
     this evening’s mystic shade,
To hear your plans and hopes
and tell you mine, all unafraid
That you’d forget to hold them dear,
When I’m away and you’re not here.

To be somewhere alone with you
     and watch the myriad stars,
Far golden worlds beyond the noisy
     earth’s unkindly jars.
As quietly they sail the night’s sea
Above the world and you and me.

    Understanding Sedona’s Home Rule Vote

If you recently moved to Sedona, you may notice that every four years, residents vote on something called Home Rule. The July 21 vote is simply about who controls Sedona’s city budget.
