    … it’s true, all we did was cruise by a little sand spit in the lake occupied by a Great Blue Heron and as you can see … we got flashed! Kind of a funny look on his face too!

    Below is a shot of a Snowy Egret departing the area and love the way he is just rolling out as he departs the area … this has been a very productive week down at the lake. Weather moving in for a few days and will not return to the lake (Lake Pleasant) until Monday morning and then in the afternoon it is up the tram to shoot the Red Tail Hawks in their nest in Red Tail Cliff in the loop area. When you’re on a roll, there is no sense in slowing down.

    Into the weekend for me and wishing you days filled with joy and smiles … always our choice as to what kind of day we will have … no one can take that away from us!

    Cheers and keep on keeping on … breathing too!

    With joy and as a friend tells me, “Miles of Smiles!”

    PS This coming Wednesday I’ll be putting on a photographic show at the Alice Gill-Sheldon theater in Sedona. Click here to buy your tickets. Among the treats are aerial photographs of the area, but without the city … took it back more than a hundred years and it looks great!

    When age has come, to-morrow
    You’ll speak with God to leave some kindly deeds
    Writ by your name that softened selfish creeds
    Of man’s slow moving love of brotherhood,
    That brought new hope to them who near you stood
    In life’s dark streets or sunlit meads.
    To-morrow you’ll ask God for better deeds.

    To-morrow, O to-morrow!
    Fast fall the fading years. A thought, a dream
    Of gentle words; of faith and love a theme;
    A smile, a step or two, and all is done.
    Quick is the veering stream of life full run;
    Yet in the crimson west still a gleam
    To-morrow and to-morrow’s endless dream.

    Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses.  By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
