… today was a day for computers and to try new techniques in processing and creation of new images … some I like and some … well they’re gone … disassembled and now free-floating bits in the nether world.

The rose was shot in one of my neighbor’s yards on a walk-in light rain and the shot below was shot in the wild area behind my home. Thank you to all my neighbors who grow flowers, it is appreciated … I am not so good at it.

Busy day coming up so will close with this … have a beautiful day and smile. We may not be able to control much in this life, but we do have the ability to control how we react to life as it flows around and through us. Cheers!

    Ted

Though despised and rejected by men
in the light of the day, the night will not reject you; and
in the still of her soft shadows you are free. After
the day’s struggle, there is no freedom like unfettered
thoughts, no sound like the music of silence. And
though behind you lies a road of dust and heat, and
before you the fear of untried paths, in this brief hour
you are master of all highways, and the universe nestles
in your soul. Therefore, in the night, sit still a while
and dream awake, ere you lie down to sleep.

    Beatles Tribute at Blazin’ M

I can honestly say, having grown up in the Bronx in the 60s, that if it had not been for the Beatles I most likely would have grown up to be a criminal or been killed in a violent gang war.
