… so today some friends and I headed up to the Plateau in the Williams area and explored lakes up there with the idea of returning with Knot Yacht powered by an electric motor that I will be buying in the next few days and doing some nature and wildlife shooting up there. Absolutely blown away by the beauty up there and the abundance of life! The forest service roads are in good condition and we spent about five hours driving on them.

I took the shot above from near the boat ramp at Dogtown Lake … the far background is the eastern side of Bill Williams Mountain and the trees are on the far side of the lake.

Below we have a Red Back Junko who took a bath in the shallows near shore at Kaibab Lake and is looking for a towel I think … from the boat ramp there you have a beautiful view of Sitgreaves Mountain straight down the lake.

We also checked out Cataract Lake, White Horse Lake near the edge of the rim of Sycamore Canyon, and a couple others that I cannot get the boat on … an incredible day and next week we’re heading back up to another area that my friend, Michele, told us about whilst we were exploring today … prairie land dominated by Golden Eagles, Ferruginous Hawks and more.

Picking up the Knot Yacht tomorrow morning and get things back in it … anxious to see the new paint job.

Have a beautiful day today … your choice and the only one we have … keep breathing and smile!

    Cheers,

Love some-one—in God’s name love some one—
for this is the bread of the inner life, without which

a part of you will starve and die; and though you feel
you must be stern, even hard, in your life of affairs,
make for yourself at least a little corner, somewhere
in the great world, where you may unbosom and be
    kind.

    Whack – A – Mole War

It looks like the tried-and-true method of armed conflict where armies face each other and kill until somebody wins or gives up, now all it takes is assassinating the leadership Israeli style. We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
