    … my internet service went out around 10 PM last night and I waited up until 2 AM hoping it would come back up so I could get the Monday email out, but such was not the case … a very busy day today and tonight I am again connected. Personally, I prefer the connection to nature when I am out on a lake or in the field looking for that one shot, I will never get.

    The donkey above is just relaxing in the sun on a warm spit of land that protrudes into the lake … later he will be foraging for food but for now he is content with where he is and who he is,

    Below are three Canada Geese flying up the southern lakeshore of Lake Mary in the Flagstaff area. They’re all doing great … flying a tight formation and following the maps within their brains.

    I love the time I spend disconnected … then it is back to the absurdities of the day, and I love them too. Keep breathing, smiling and expand your sense of wonder … we are here!

    Smiles,

    Ted

    To-morrow, O to-morrow!
    Fast fall the fading years. A thought, a dream
    Of gentle words; of faith and love a theme;
    A smile, a step or two, and all is done.
    Quick is the veering stream of life full run;
    Yet in the crimson west still gleam
    To-morrow and to-morrow’s endless dream.
