One was directing my work on a photo from yesterday and she spotted a nice place to take a nap and to observe and look for prey. Reality she determined would have to bend to accommodate her need for creature comforts and thus she directed that the image would be rotated 90 degrees in order to provide her with a comfortable perch from which to observe the world … and I agree with her … makes sense. Please note the many faces in the column … some inverted and some not. Their facial expressions are forever etched in stone, so to speak, but we still have a choice and a smile would be a better way to remain frozen for eternity methinks … choose wisely.

A very quiet day and I nearly finished “Legacy”, what a wonderful book. One had close to a two hour outing and then in; I went for a ride on the Zuma II for about an hour at the end of the day and enjoyed the fresh air; it was amazing traversing from sunlight and warmth to the shadows and a cool air. The rocks were beautiful and I rode down Verde Valley School Road to Oak Creek. No camera, sometimes it is best just to observe and take it all in without thinking about composition, lighting and all … I still seem to do it mentally, but store the image in my mind and perhaps someday I’ll shoot it.

Have a beautiful day on this most beautiful little planet … and share the joy you find on your journey.

The green of all the fields is mine, the stars, the night, the wind at play,
    A peaceful heart, while quietly
    I go my way
