… another day … endless opportunities and ways to make it the best day ever … and it is the only one you have … how can I make it great and if not great, what kind of day do I want?
I love the color blue and the Great Blue heron above has just launched himself from a rock near the shore of Lake Pleasant and he is completing a powerful wing beat and looking very much like he is a serious dude! The lake shore is lined with herons and egrets of all kinds wherever you go … nest building seems to be wrapping up and a new generation of herons and egrets will soon be here.
The aerial shot below was taken over Lake Mary Road, east of Morman Lake looking back over the lake towards Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks. Blue skies with a few lazy clouds reflected in the water … another day and ever so slowly the land moves westward … eruptions of lava are forming beneath earth’s crust and sometime in the next few hundred years another volcanic eruption will occur on the plateau … the skyline in the photo is punctuated with the cones from hundreds of volcanic eruptions from past years and new ones will be forming … all in earths time.
Down to the lake early tomorrow and Tuesday mornings … have a beautiful day and smile … we are here!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
