… a distinct lack of imagination in the caption tonight … but the images are blue or at least a significant portion of them is.
The photo above was taken from SW of Rogers Lake on the Colorado Plateau looking towards the NE. Above the lake are the San Francisco Peaks draped with a a lot of snow … February so that is to be expected … clouds, blue sky and blue reflection of the sky on the lake. It was a wonderful day to be aloft!
Below is a photo I took of a Great Blue Heron as he was winging it down Oak Creek and viewed against a heavily forested creek bed. Majestic is a word that comes to mind!
Into the weekend … time to spend with friends and catch up on more projects. For me it will be finishing the blue sapphire with photos and cleaning the carpets … halfway there.
Back on Monday … keep breathing, smile and enjoy life on this beautiful little planet we call home.

Though I know I shall sometime no more open
my eyes to the night or the day,
I am one who looks at the stars when unchained from
the workbench at nightfall.
They are a sign that I am not ephemeral, nor you, nor
you, whoever you are.
The dawn comes and the dark and the sign sparkling
in the brooding night forever and forever.
