By Ted Grussing
… out of a tight place and this pair of mallards is going vertical to get out of a small pocket in the granite rocks at Watson Lake … the greyish color reminded me of prison walls thus the title, “Jail Break.” Need to get back on the water and back in the air soon … the high winds have made both options a little more challenging than I would like, so I do exciting things like trips to the MVD to get the Federal ID change to my drivers license, walks at the ponds and work on photos. Photos, most of which I know I will throw, accumulate on the CF cards in the cameras … and quality time with One on the deck and rescues of the creatures she catches and brings in the house to play with … and invite to stay as dinner guests when playtime has concluded!
Back up to the airport in the morning to bring my ten foot step ladder up there … it will provide a safe means of working on the top of the shade for Mariah. The winds have loosened the fabric panels and I need to get that taken care of.
A wrap to my day as Wednesday unfolds … have a beautiful day and find the beauty that is everywhere you are … share a smile and keep breathing.
Cheers
Ted
The green of all the fields is mine, the stars, the night, the wind at play,
A peaceful heart, while quietly
I go my way
