… a couple more shots from last week’s trip down to Lake Pleasant … after being stalked by us three times our Osprey decided that an entirely different part of the lake was in his plans, and he left whilst I got the above inflight shot of him as he departed.
The Greenhead Mallard below was not enamored with our presence either, and he erupted into flight and left us alone in a very small and quiet bay off of Castle Hot Springs Bay … rejection is not all bad as those are my favorite shots when they are in flight.
Into a new week and it appears that there will be better choices than a trip to the lake this week … as in it is going to be cold! Still, I have more things scheduled than I can finish, so that’s okay.
Thursday January 11, 6PM, I will be giving a presentation to The Sedona Westerners Hiking Club at the Methodist Church … if you are a ember or a person interested in hiking and joining the group, I hope you will come out for it. The title of the presentation is “Uncharted Trails.”
Have a beautiful day and share a smile or three with those you meet and greet today.
Cheers,
Ted
The joy of dawn, and peace abides with me;
And though I know that I again shall see
Dark fear with withered hand approach my sleep,
More sure am I when lonely night shall flee,
At dawn the sun will bring good cheer to me.
