    The Arizona Rangers: From Inception to Present

    Verde Valley AZ (January 27, 2012) – The public is invited to learn about the Arizona Rangers from their inception in 1901 until now. Captain Rick Roda of the Verde Valley Company of Arizona Rangers will speak on this all-volunteer group of dedicated individuals with a three-fold purpose. Discover how the Rangers, past and present, are a most valuable and important part of the historical heritage and honorable service to Arizona and its citizens.

    The special presentation, open and free to the public, will be Friday, February 10, at 2 pm at Yavapai College’s Clarkdale campus, Room M 137. The campus is located off of Black Hills Drive. For more information, please call 928-649-4275.

    What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
