Over Two Feet of Snow Forecasted

logo snowbowlFlagstaff AZ (March 17, 2012) – As the spring temperatures are enjoyed around Arizona and skiers and snowboarders continue to relish in the spring conditions on the slopes, the Arizona Snowbowl prepares for the largest snow storm of the winter season.

Snowbowl is forecasted to receive up to 3 feet of fresh snow and at times could see several inches of snow falling per hour. Gusty winds are anticipated in front of the storm but should not hamper lift operations.

“This storm is going to vastly improve the snow conditions and provide the best skiing of the entire season. With Spring Break promotions running and great snow conditions it’s the perfect combo for skiers to come up and enjoy the snow”, states Dave Smith, Snowbowl’s Marketing Director, “It’s been a good season but we have had a below average snowpack. Skier and snowboarders have been waiting for a big powder day, which we typically have each season and this storm is forecasted to bring us those big days.”

Snowbowl does have incredible ways to save on lift tickets during Spring Break. Visit their website for the best ways to save money while on the slopes.

During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
