Camp Verde News – On April 20th, 2025, at approximately 3:45pm, human skeletal remains were found in a vacant field near Finnie Flat Road in Camp Verde. The remains have yet to be identified and there is no
obvious cause of death at this time. Camp Verde Detective’s are currently working with the Yavapai
County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the remains using DNA technology. Information
gathered and available at this time, is that remains likely belong to that of a 50+ year old male
individual, that the subject has been in this location and deceased for approximately 12-18 months
and that the subject was wearing size 10, red and black pair of Air Jordan tennis shoes.
