Clarkdale AZ (May 17, 2021) – Verde Valley Fire District along with Cottonwood Fire & Medical, Verde Valley Ambulance, Native Air, and Clarkdale Police Department responded to a single vehicle roll over accident on Sunday evening, May 16 in the area of State Hwy 89a near #1 Foods in Clarkdale. On arrival of the first engine company, they found a single vehicle 150 feet off the road and down in a ravine on its top.
The driver was the only occupant and was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Crews treated and stabilized the patient for transport to Flagstaff Medical Center by Helicopter.
Clarkdale Police is investigating the accident to determine the cause.
