SEDONA, Ariz. – Beginning Sept. 4. 2025, Sedona Shuttle will return to its regular hours – from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday – on the Route 11 Trailhead service to and from the West SR-89A Park & Ride and Dry Creek Vista and Mescal trailheads.

Also, Route 12 from Posse Grounds to Dry Creek Vista Trailhead will not be reinstated. Hikers and bikers headed for Dry Creek Vista and Mescal trailheads should go to the West SR-89A Park & Ride and catch the Route 11.

During the hot summer months, the Route 11 schedule was modified to reduce afternoon drop offs, however with cooling temperatures returning, the last bus to the trailhead will now again be at 4:30 p.m.

    Ode to Sleeplessness

    By Amaya Gayle Gregory

I sleep well most nights. This is something relatively new for me. For many years, I was a raging insomniac. I didn’t sleep well last night and found myself meditating around 4am, not so much to get to sleep but for something to pass the time.
