A Groundbreaking Film Promoting Conflict Resolution for Youth
Sedona, Az – Filmmakers Shondra Jepperson and Dev Ross are proud to present the world premiere screening of their innovative new project, High School Detention – The Musical, scheduled for February 28, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Sedona Performing Arts Center in Sedona, Arizona.
WEirD Detention (High School Detention The Musical) 1s presented via Artists Forum serves as an engaging “gateway” to essential conflict resolution skills for young audiences.
The story follows three students serving detention who embark on a transformative musical journey toward greater self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication when three charismatic Divas magically emerge from a piano in an unused classroom.
The production is elevated by the participation of two acclaimed professional actresses traveling from Los Angeles to join the exceptional local cast.
The filmmakers are delighted to welcome special guest performers Yukumi Takizawa and Lorinda Hawkins Smith, whose talents will bring additional depth and professionalism to this heartfelt production.
