Sedona, AZ — Wild West Fiddle Project is ready to reveal Arizona’s deep musical soul. Experience the genuine sound of the Southwest, a vibrant cross-cultural fusion blending Celtic melodies, Hispanic rhythms, and other historical traditions that shaped the region’s unique past and landscapes.
Led by acclaimed fiddler Kate Rose and master rhythm expert Armand Ramirez, this project is your unique chance to hear, play, and dance to rare, forgotten tunes that capture Arizona’s rich, blended heritage.
It all starts on Saturday, November 15.  At 4 pm, Rose and Ramirez will lead a workshop on Arizona traditional folk heritage music for musicians of all instruments and skill levels.  Spectators and dancers are welcome to attend the workshop.
At 5:30 pm, there will be a community dance.  People of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in traditional Arizona dances, taught with live fiddle and guitar music.  It is a unique, joyful community experience.  The dance will last approximately ninety minutes, concluding at 7 pm.
The workshop and community dance are free to attend.
The Wild West Fiddle Project is proudly partnered with the Community Library Sedona, the Sedona Historical Society, and supported by the City of Sedona.  Future Wild West Fiddle Project events will take place at Community Library Sedona.
The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, Arizona.  Open daily 11 am – 3 pm.  For more information call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
