Festival partners with The Wilde Resort & Spa for “Wilde Wednesdays” outdoor films
Sedona, AZ — The Sedona International Film Festival is partnering with The Wilde Resort in West Sedona to present its “Movies on the Move” outdoor film experience — “Wilde Wednesdays” Cinema Under the Stars — every Wednesday in the summer season!
Join us on Wednesday, July 16 as we present “West Side Story” in The Grove Fire Pit Garden at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
“West Side Story” was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. It won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Ariana DeBose.
“West Side Story” is a 2021 American musical romantic drama film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Tony Kushner, with music by Leonard Bernstein.
Love at first sight strikes when young Tony spots Maria at a high school dance in 1957 New York City. Their burgeoning romance helps to fuel the fire between the warring Jets and Sharks — two rival gangs vying for control of the streets.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and relax in front of a massive outdoor movie screen. Enjoy food and beverage offerings from The Wilde Resort and fun movie concessions.
The Wilde Resort and Spa is also offering local “Stay-cation” getaway packages with special $199 nightly rate for a Grove room (arriving Wednesday), including a complimentary bottle of wine (red or white), waived resort fees, and late check-out at noon. Mention booking code “D-WWED” when making the reservation.
“West Side Story” will be shown outdoors at The Wilde Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona) on Wednesday, July 16 at dusk. Seating will begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs. Parking is free and available at The Wilde Resort and Spa.
