Walt (Shameik Moore) is an unemployed underachiever who discovers a newfound talent for bowling. Encouraged by a barfly named Skunk (D’Arcy Carden), he launches a pro career to save the local bowling alley from foreclosure.

With his powerful rolling skills and unconventional style, Walt becomes an unlikely bowling hero — much to the chagrin of legendary champion Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan Sarandon).

“The Gutter” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Nov. 1-7. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2 and 5 at 3:30 p.m.; and Sunday and Thursday, Nov. 3 and 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.  For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
