In the heart of Indonesia, three condemned prisoners facing execution find unexpected solace within prison walls. Grappling with their pasts and imminent demise, they embark on an extraordinary transformation. Embracing Christianity, they discover hope, forgiveness, and the power to change their lives, even in the face of the ultimate punishment.

Their courage and faith in the days leading up to the execution inspire the entire prison camp and results in a stunning conclusion.

“The Firing Squad” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres Aug. 30-Sept. 5. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30, 31 and Sept. 1 at 6:30 p.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 2, 4 and 5 at 3:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
