    Sedona News – Award-winning, world-renowned international countertenor Terry Barber brings his acclaimed live holiday production “Christmas Presence” to Sedona when he performs at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    There will be two performances — Monday, Dec. 11 and Tuesday, Dec. 12 — presented by the Sedona International Film Festival.

    In “Christmas Presence”, Terry Barber — a classically-trained countertenor — uses his broad range of pitch and color to breathe new life into holiday favorites. From Classics to Classical, Carols, and Inspirational Popular Favorites, audiences have requested this program, and can now be filled with joy this holiday season!

    Barber’s “Christmas Presence” recording was considered for 6 Grammy Nominations. Come join us at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre and you’ll hear why!

    The holiday concert features seasonal favorites like Mary Did You Know, Believe (from The Polar Express), Oh Holy Night, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, plus some great traditional carols for you to sing with Terry and many more.

    In what The L.A. Times calls “great performances of vitality and verve,” Barber has been a soloist for the best venues around the world from the Metropolitan Opera to Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall.

    Embracing audiences with his vibrant character and powerful yet ethereal voice, Barber is known for his extreme vocal range as a rare countertenor. He can be heard on recordings alongside artists from Madonna, Jewel, Chaka Khan and Cyndi Lauper to the London Philharmonic.

    Terry Barber’s “Christmas Presence” will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance; $35 at the door.

    All tickets include a meet-and-greet with Terry Barber in the lobby after each show.
