    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Renner”, showing March 14-20 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres.

    A computer genius invents an A.I life coach to help him find love, but realizes too late he accidentally programmed his manipulative mother into the code in “Renner”.

    Renner, a reclusive computer genius driven by a need for control, designs an A.I. named Salenus to help him overcome his crippling social anxieties and find love. Encouraged by Salenus, Renner forms a connection with his alluring neighbor Jamie, but their relationship starts to unravel when she begins to interact with the A.I.

    As dark secrets and betrayals begin to surface, Salenus’s influence on Renner takes a malicious turn, leaving him entangled in the devastating consequences of his invention.

    “Renner” features a stellar ensemble cast, including Frankie Muniz, Violett Beane, Taylor Gray and Marcia Gay Harden.

    “Renner” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres March 14-20. Showtimes will be Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15 at 6:30 p.m.; Monday and Tuesday, March 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m.; and Wednesday and Thursday, March 19 and 20 at 3:30 p.m.
